Kwangtung River Turtles are essentially extinct in Nature. Chinese Turtles are becoming more and more scarce. We have actually succeeded in hybridizing them really. One clutch of nine hatchlings, showing varying amounts of both species traits hatched & no two are the same. Each has some of the pretty Golden Thread head patterning – and each has lots of the famed Kwangtung River bright belly markings (see the photos).
